Instructions on how to build custom extensions for the Collector.

Extensions in the OpenTelemetry Collector are components that can be added to the Collector to provide capabilities that are not part of the core pipelines (receivers, processors, exporters). Extensions can provide capabilities such as authentication, health checks, service discovery, and more.
